"LAHORE FORT" a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Suplinded Building of Mughals in Lahore

Lahore Fort currently was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1566 AD is very famous historical point Lahore. In 1981 it was declared as world heritage site by the UNISCO.  This fort was originally built about 1000 years ago. It is very complicated in defense and illustration point for marble work and interior beauty. Its palaces, gardens and other building have a great charm to the visitors. It is a master piece of architecture of Mughal Emperor Akbar.

Building of Mughal Emperor Akbar:

Currently founder of the Lahore fort was Great Mughal emperor Akbar. He built this fort in1566 and completed within 14 years. He made its only gate (masjadi gate) for military use to defend Lahore. And then transfer its capital from Dahli to Lahore. And decorate fort with red sand stone in its own style that is latterly called Akbari style. He decorated wall with animal painting that show Akbar’s Policy for the non Muslim.

Enhancement by Emperor Jahangir:

Alam geri gate toward Badshahi masque is the prominent building which is added by the emperor Auragzaib Alamger. He build this for movement of royal family in royal palaces in the fort. Royal families riding on the elephant go through this gate to enter in the fort. He has also emphasize to improve the orchard and fountains in the royal palaces of Lahore fort. 

Modification By shah Jahan:

Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan has made a number of modifications in his era. He builds Sheesh Mahal for the empress and Nolakha and Moti Masjid for Royal Ladies. All these building were in Iranian style and master piece of architectural work. Their fresco works was amazing and have a great attraction for the visitors.
He introduces the Dewan-e-Aam that is used for General public audience this remarkable building was also build by Shah Jahan in 1631. Here the emperor would make daily appearance and received official visitors. Dewan-e- Khas designed for the special guests and private audience. These quadrangle elegant and finish with white marble building is used to receiving special guests.

Fresco Work:

All Mughal Emperor were fond of fresco work. As their building represent this.  A number of buildings in Lahore fort were splendid by Mughal fresco work. It is really unique in design and attraction. Due to its fresco work and historical values UNISCO declared this building as world heritage site in 1981.

Museum:There is a museum in the Lahore fort. It has three galleries armory gallery, Sikh Gallery and Mughal gallery.  A number of historical ad war equipment was displayed. Sikh and Mughal gallery were also displayed culture of their period.

Ayubia an awe-inspiring Hill Station and summer resort in Pakistan

Ayubia is very famous hill station and summer resort at 26 km from Murree. Its name was after our late Ex-president General Muhammad Ayub Khan. This summer resort has its own beauty and has a great attraction to local and foreigner visitors. In summer people come here due to its lush green forestry and they enjoy its pleasant weather. And in winter season it is very famous for snow fall. Visitor from all over the world come to here to enjoy its beauty whole the year.

Geographic location of Ayubia:


Ayubia is located at Murree to Nathia Gali road about 26 km from Murree. This beautiful hull station consists four towns Ghora Daka, Khanspur, Changla Gali and Khaira Gali with in the Ayub National Park. Its most of the area has been developed. A Number of Hotels and Restaurants are available. Sports facilities are also set up in the area throughout the year. There is a youth hostel in Khanaspur. A number of Got. Offices like Prime minister house, President house and Punjab Govt. and KPK Govt. Offices are also available in the area.

Picnic Points of Ayubia:


There are a number of picnic points in Ayubia and its surroundings.
You can enjoy hiking on tracks and visit the charming beauty of Ayub National Park from the chair lifts. Meet frankly with wild animals. Enjoy wonderful seen of snow falling. Some most important picnic points are the following

Hiking:


There is a hiking track from Ayubia to Donga Gali ad then Nathia Gali. This track is called pipe line track and very smooth. You can enjoy hiking here with family. Whole the track covered with lush green forest of Ayubia national park and natural beauty.

Monkey Point:


This point is famous due to monkeys. Which are very large in quantity and behaves friendly with the visitors. Even that they come to very close and get something to eat from your hands. In local language and in Urdu monkey is called as “Baander”. So this point is called sometimes Baander point.

Chair Lift:


Chair lift is also available for the visitors. They can enjoy the appealing beauty of luxuriant forest and natural land escape from top side.

Neelum View Point:


This is the highest point at the chair lift. And Neelum river of Neelum Valley of Kashmir can be seen from this point.

Weather of Ayubia:


Spring to summer season weather of Ayubia is very pleasant. Then temperature is becoming down with in next months.
Winter season is very severe in the area. Ayubia is very popular point among visitors for snow falling. About mid December to 1st week of February it is observed heavy snow fall in the Ayubia that attracts tourists toward area.
